A Pretty table with two different heights!

A study exploring objects that are introduced to Vietnam through violence and then recontextualized into something that is woven into the convenience of everyday. Similar to the Bánh mì (A traditional Vietnamese sandwich made on a Baguette) here, I examine the table.

While making this project I focused on creating a table with both Eastern and Western sensibilities. An ode to longstanding Chinese and French occupation that once was. A low table to the ground for tea as well as a traditional coffee table height. All in one.
