The Dragon’s Eye
There were originally two leviathans; a male and female. However, the Bible explains that this combination made God wary; He realized that allowing a creature that mighty to reproduce would probably prove ill for humans. So, he killed the female and froze the meat for the righteous in the world to eat later on. The Dragon's Eyes is a project to honor the dead, to revive legends and heal histories: An ode to her.
This project consists of two tables Levi and Athan. Athan (Documentation above) is an intimate grill table for two. Constructed out of a 10” stainless steel grate, indigenous bluestone and wood from a 150 year old beech tree. Grilling becomes an enchanted ritual, magic becomes ordinary.
