Terraforming [In Progress] (Seed embedded natural 3D Filament, 3D scans, Blender)

3D printed landscape to document my body changing during hormonal therapy.

I took a lot of math classes growing up. I’m a lover of calculus.

There’s this concept called a limit, where as a graph keeps extending further and further towards a point we just have to estimate where it ends. It never actually ends, the graph will literally go towards infinity. But like all things that keep on getting smaller and smaller or larger and larger, to comprehend it, we just have to guess.

Euler’s constant, also know as the number e is the sum of each of of those little points as a graph approaches this arbitrary guess.

I’m on e now, short for both estrogen and Euler’s number.

I’m turning myself, my body, my evergrowing breasts into math.

My body has been and is now formally architecture.

I’m scanning myself and watching 3D programs tell me that I have holes in me.

I’m 3D printing myself out and watching my body become a landscape, a model to be turned into something else: something much bigger.

What happens if I turn day 38 of e into something that lasts forever?

A snapshot of an everchanging landscape.
